De forma a promover a ficção especulativa em Portugal na forma de romance em Língua Portuguesa e homenagear um grande nome da nossa literatura e cinematografia, a Editorial Divergência abre as inscrições para a segunda edição do “Prémio António de Macedo”.
Apenas podem concorrer textos inéditos, em língua portuguesa, respeitando o Acordo Ortográfico de 1945 e submetidos pelos próprios autores.

António de Macedo (5 July 1931 in Lisbon − 5 October 2017 in Lisbon, Portugal) was first a filmmaker and later a writer, university professor and lecturer.[1]
He gave up from filmmaking in the nineties as he felt systematically excluded from the state support programs of the Portuguese Ministry of Culture, the only financial source for film production in Portugal in that time. As a consequence, he dedicated himself entirely to writing, investigation and teaching. He published several books, essays, philosophy and fiction.
